“Cherry Stars”, a site specific sculptural installation, was presented at the 2007 Ybor Festival

of the Moving Image April 19th- April 22nd on the second floor of the historic Cuban Club

in Tampa Florida.

“Cherry Stars” was commissioned by Experimental Skeleton, Inc. by the Ybor Festival of the Moving Image to comment on the history of Ybor City and the migrant workers that populated

the area in the early 19th century. The resulting work was a projected image of ES members

frantically puffing cigars from behind a blacked out celestial dome to create a blinking constellation of cigar cherries.
